Ekaant Foundation

Life. Resilience. Mental Health

About Ekaant Foundation

Get to know the experts dedicated to your mental health journey

Ekaant Foundation is a Not for Profit Organization, registered under Section 8 of the Indian Companies Act.

We work towards making mental health care services accessible to all. We strive towards this end by providing therapy sessions on a sliding scale basis and also creating and providing free-of-cost resources for mental health and well-being.

We also curate sessions, workshops, events, and walks to encourage mental health education and to create avenues for people to engage with literature, arts, theatre, nature, and mindfulness, to enhance their life skills and resilience. These sessions go a long way in preventing mental health conditions, battling the loneliness and isolation that so many of us grapple with, and fostering a sense of inner strength and purpose that helps us engage meaningfully with our selves and consequently, also, with those around us.

About Richa Sharma

Founder & Psychotherapist

Richa leads the psychotherapy vertical at Ekaant Foundation. She is on a mission to help people become more resilient and feel empowered enough to believe in their true potential.

She is a trauma-informed psychotherapist who actively integrates art, literature and mindfulness in her therapy sessions.

She possesses a rich experience of working with people struggling with anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, self – injurious behaviour, addiction and chronic pain. She has also worked closely with survivors of abuse and violence and brings a trauma informed perspective into her therapeutic practice. She also works on men’s mental health issues and helps facilitate the expression and channelization of unresolved emotional knots through her therapy sessions.

In her sessions, healing happens through shared silences, moments of laughter, gazing at and taking in new perspectives to look at old, familiar situations, some aha moments, some tears, some therapy tasks and goals and inevitably, cups of chai.
